For those bigger jobs, Bridge Skips can offer free consultation and waste audit before or during the project to help keep those costs to a minimum. We are also experts in Recycling and waste segregation. Bridge Skips also offer waste transfer facilities to maximise recycling, manage hazardous waste and generally ensure that you receive the best most reliable service in the market place.
As part of Bridge Skips commitment to achieving 90% recycling rates we have invested in our own state of the art recycling Facilities and MRF. These facilities are capable of receiving commercial and non hazardous waste from both the trade and public sectors. All waste received at our facilities is segregated by either man or machine where we aim to recycle the following waste stream:
Paper & Cardboard which to then baled and recycled and sent back to the local mill
Plastic Waste: There are a large variety of plastic waste that can be recycled, these are then separated on site and baled or exporting
Glass & Glass Bottles: All Types of glass a recycled on site and sent for further use within the industry
Wood: Bridge Skips Limited recycle all waste received on site, this includes all man made woods such as MDF and PLY, which can be chipped and remade in office furniture or animal bedding.
Green Waste: Any Green Waste such as grass or forestry waste received can be composted and recycled and turned into Mulch for resale.
Scrap Metal: Bridge Skips also have strong affiliations with local scrap metal merchants and can arrange from the hire of permanent or one off containers for the regular collect and recycling of your scrap metal.
Soil Waste: All soil waste is screened at our facilities in Portsmouth and can be resold as either screened soil or as back fill, please contact use if you wish to discuss the purchase of screened soils.
Hardcore & Concrete: Bridge Skips limited transport all Hardcore and concrete for further recycling and crushing, this material can then be sold as a crushed concrete and used on your next building project, please call for details on the sale of crushed concrete.
